Kites: Past, Present and Possibilities

Earthlings have always wanted to fly, but long before there were airplanes and space ships to fly in, they flew kites. The Smithsonian Institution has packaged kite history, shapes and possibilities in a traveling exhibit now showing on an island near you. The exhibit, sponsored by the Alliance and the Drachen Foundation, is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in Building 4B, next to the Admiral's House in Nolan Park.
