Summer Jobs on the Island

Want to spend the summer on a beautiful island - in New York Harbor? The National Park Service seeks students to work as summer rangers guiding walking tours and helping with special events during the four months that the Island will be open to the public. There are also openings for staff at the visitors' center information desk and in the bookstore. Starting pay is $14.21 an hour.
    Applicants must have a high school degree or a GED and must currently be enrolled in a degree or certificate program. The workweek is Wednesday through Sunday, beginning in mid-May.
